The Caravan Route T-Shirt is built in that spirit — a meeting point of techniques and materials that have their own separate histories, arriving together on a single garment.

On a yellow jersey base, traditional motifs are laser-cut from khaddar and applied to the shirt surface. Jute sublimation patches sit on the front alongside the khaddar, a pairing of two very different material weights and textures. Screen-printed front artwork runs across the body, creating a final layer over the combined surface.

Yellow is the colour of the caravan in full light — visible, warm, unmistakable on the horizon. The laser-cut khaddar motifs are from the traditions that lined that route: geometric patterns that survived centuries of travel because they were simple enough to remember and complex enough to mean something. The jute patches ground the shirt in a rougher, earthier material register.

Routes are not destinations. They are processes, encounters, accumulations. This shirt is assembled the same way — from things that were already moving, brought together at one point on the map.
