The Friends & Family Button Down is crafted from handwoven khaddar fabric that highlights the richness of traditional South Asian textile craftsmanship. Designed with a relaxed silhouette, the piece blends artisanal detailing with modern streetwear aesthetics, creating a garment rooted in both heritage and community — “khaas logon ke liye” (for special people).

The shirt features intricate paisley-inspired artwork created through direct block printing and enhanced with hand embellishments using sequins and stones. Each embellishment is individually secured with visible thread stitching layered on top, adding depth, texture, and a raw, handcrafted character to the surface. A screen-printed Rastah logo is placed on a khaddar patch at the front, reinforcing the garment’s layered construction and signature visual language.

Delicate border-inspired block print detailing runs along the hem, front placket, and sleeves, adding structure and continuity to the overall design. At the back, a bold Friends & Family sublimation jute patch is overlapped with an additional khaddar patch beneath it, adding depth and texture to the garment’s handcrafted construction — “dosti, yaari aur apnayat ka ehsaas” (a feeling of friendship, belonging, and connection).
